Ch TIFF includes demo programs for testing of Ch TIFF. Use these program after installing Ch TIFF as indicated in the readme file included with the distribution. A description of the demos can be found here

These demos can be used to manipulate tif images and determine more information about the image. For example, the demo tiff2bw.c can be used to change color tif images to a greyscale tif images.
